10 And Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 had made6213 him horns7161 of iron,1270 and said,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 With these428 thou shalt push5055853 Syria758 until5704 they be consumed.3615
11 And all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 so,3651 saying,559 Go up5927 to Ramoth-gilead,7433 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414it into the hand3027 of the king.4428
12 And the messenger4397 that834 went1980 to call7121 Micaiah4321 spoke1696 to413 him, saying,559 Behold,2009 the words1697 of the prophets5030declare good2896 to413 the king4428 with one259 assent;6310 let thy word1697 therefore, I pray thee,4994 be1961 like one259 of4480 theirs, and speak1696 thou good.2896
13 And Micaiah4321 said,559As the LORD3068 liveth,2416 even3588853 what834 my God430 saith,559 that will I speak.1696
14 And when he was come935 to413 the king,4428 the king4428 said559 unto413 him, Micaiah,4318 shall we go1980 to413 Ramoth-gilead7433 to battle,4421 or518 shall I forbear?2308 And he said,559 Go ye up,5927 and prosper,6743 and they shall be delivered5414 into your hand.3027
15 And the king4428 said559 to413 him, How many57044100 times6471 shall I589 adjure7650 thee that834 thou say1696 nothing3808 but7535 the truth571 to413 me in the name8034 of the LORD?3068
16 Then he said,559 I did see7200853 all3605 Israel3478 scattered6327 upon5921 the mountains,2022 as sheep6629 that834 have no369 shepherd:7462 and the LORD3068 said,559 These428 have no3808 master;113 let them return7725therefore every man376 to his house1004 in peace.7965
17 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to413 Jehoshaphat,3092 Did I not3808 tell559413 thee that he would not3808 prophesy5012 good2896 unto5921 me, but3588518 evil?7451

20 Then there came out3318 a spirit,7307 and stood5975 before6440 the LORD,3068 and said,559 I589 will entice6601 him. And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Wherewith?4100

25 Then the king4428 of Israel3478 said,559 Take3947 ye853 Micaiah,4321 and carry him back7725 to413 Amon526 the governor8269 of the city,5892 and to413 Joash3101 the king's4428 son;1121
26 And say,559 Thus3541 saith559 the king,4428 Put7760 this2088fellow in the prison,10043608 and feed398 him with bread3899 of affliction3906 and with water4325 of affliction,3906 until5704 I return7725 in peace.7965
27 And Micaiah4321 said,559 If518 thou certainly return77257725 in peace,7965then hath not3808 the LORD3068 spoken1696 by me. And he said,559 Hearken,8085 all3605 ye people.5971
28 So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 went up5927 to413 Ramoth-gilead.7433
29 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 I will disguise myself,2664 and will go935 to the battle;4421 but put thou on8593847 thy robes.899 So the king4428 of Israel3478 disguised himself;2664 and they went935 to the battle.4421
30 Now the king4428 of Syria758 had commanded6680853 the captains8269 of the chariots7393 that834were with him, saying,559 Fight3898 ye not3808 with854 small6996 or854 great,1419 save3588518 only905 with854 the king4428 of Israel.3478
31 And it came to pass,1961 when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 saw7200853 Jehoshaphat,3092 that they1992 said,559 It1931is the king4428 of Israel.3478 Therefore they compassed5437 about5921 him to fight:3898 but Jehoshaphat3092 cried out,2199 and the LORD3068 helped5826 him; and God430 moved5496 them to depart from4480 him.
32 For it came to pass,1961 that, when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 perceived7200 that3588 it was1961 not3808 the king4428 of Israel,3478 they turned back again7725 from pursuing4480310 him.
33 And a certain man376 drew4900 a bow7198 at a venture,8537 and smote5221853 the king4428 of Israel3478 between996 the joints1694 of the harness:8302 therefore he said559 to his chariot man,7395 Turn2015 thine hand,3027 that thou mayest carry me out3318 of4480 the host;4264 for3588 I am wounded.2470
34 And the battle4421 increased5927 that1931 day:3117 howbeit the king4428 of Israel3478 stayed himself up19615975 in his chariot4818 against5227 the Syrians758 until5704 the even:6153 and about the time6256 of the sun8121 going down935 he died.4191

7 Царь Исраила ответил Иосафату: – Есть ещё один человек, через которого мы можем спросить Вечного, но я ненавижу его, потому что он никогда не пророчествует обо мне ничего доброго, а только плохое. Это Михей, сын Имлы. – Царю не следует так говорить, – сказал Иосафат.

11 Все остальные пророки пророчествовали о том же, говоря: – Иди на Рамот Галаадский и будь победителем! Вечный отдаст его в руки царя.
12 Посланник, который ходил, чтобы позвать Михея, сказал ему: – Слушай, все остальные пророки, как один, предсказывают царю успех. Пусть твоё слово будет согласно с их словами, и говори благоприятно.

16 Тогда Михей ответил: – Я видел весь Исраил рассеянным по горам, как овцы без пастуха, и Вечный сказал: «У них нет господина. Пусть каждый возвращается с миром домой».
17 Царь Исраила сказал Иосафату: – Разве я не говорил тебе, что он никогда не пророчествует обо мне ничего хорошего, одно лишь плохое?
18 А Михей сказал: – Итак, выслушай слово Вечного. Я видел Вечного сидящим на своём троне, со всем небесным воинством, стоявшим возле Него, справа и слева.
19 Вечный сказал: «Кто выманит Ахава, царя Исраила, чтобы он пошёл и пал при Рамоте Галаадском?» И один предлагал одно, другой другое,
20 тогда вышел некий дух и встал перед Вечным, сказав: «Я его выманю». «Как?» – спросил Вечный.
21 «Я пойду и стану лживым духом в устах всех его пророков», – сказал он. «Да, ты преуспеешь в этом и выманишь его, – сказал Вечный. – Иди и сделай так».
22 И вот теперь Вечный вложил в уста всех этих твоих пророков лживый дух, а тебе Вечный определил беду.
23 Тогда Цедекия, сын Кенааны, подошёл и ударил Михея по щеке. – Как это Дух Вечного перешёл от меня к тебе, чтобы говорить с тобой? – спросил он.
24 Михей ответил: – Ты узнаешь это в тот день, когда будешь прятаться во внутренней комнате.
25 Тогда царь Исраила приказал: – Возьмите Михея и отправьте его к Амону, правителю города, и к Иоашу, приближённому царя,
26 и скажите: Так говорит царь: «Посадите этого человека в темницу и не давайте ему ничего, кроме хлеба и воды, пока я благополучно не вернусь».
27 Михей сказал: – Если ты благополучно вернёшься, значит, Вечный не говорил через меня! И ещё он сказал: – Пусть все услышат это!
28 И царь Исраила пошёл на Рамот Галаадский с Иосафатом, царём Иудеи.
29 Царь Исраила сказал Иосафату: – Я вступлю в сражение переодетым, но ты носи свои царские одежды. Царь Исраила переоделся и вступил в сражение.
30 А царь Сирии приказал начальникам над своими колесницами: – Не сражайтесь ни с кем, ни с малым, ни с великим, кроме царя Исраила.
31 Когда начальники над колесницами увидели Иосафата, они подумали: «Это царь Исраила». И они повернули, чтобы напасть на него, но Иосафат закричал, и Вечный пришёл к нему на помощь. Всевышний отвёл их от него:
32 начальники над колесницами увидели, что он не царь Исраила и перестали его преследовать.

28 So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 went up5927 to413 Ramoth-gilead.7433
28 И царь Исраила пошёл на Рамот Галаадский с Иосафатом, царём Иудеи.
29 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 Jehoshaphat,3092 I will disguise myself,2664 and will go935 to the battle;4421 but put thou on8593847 thy robes.899 So the king4428 of Israel3478 disguised himself;2664 and they went935 to the battle.4421
29 Царь Исраила сказал Иосафату: – Я вступлю в сражение переодетым, но ты носи свои царские одежды. Царь Исраила переоделся и вступил в сражение.
30 Now the king4428 of Syria758 had commanded6680853 the captains8269 of the chariots7393 that834were with him, saying,559 Fight3898 ye not3808 with854 small6996 or854 great,1419 save3588518 only905 with854 the king4428 of Israel.3478
30 А царь Сирии приказал начальникам над своими колесницами: – Не сражайтесь ни с кем, ни с малым, ни с великим, кроме царя Исраила.
31 And it came to pass,1961 when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 saw7200853 Jehoshaphat,3092 that they1992 said,559 It1931is the king4428 of Israel.3478 Therefore they compassed5437 about5921 him to fight:3898 but Jehoshaphat3092 cried out,2199 and the LORD3068 helped5826 him; and God430 moved5496 them to depart from4480 him.
31 Когда начальники над колесницами увидели Иосафата, они подумали: «Это царь Исраила». И они повернули, чтобы напасть на него, но Иосафат закричал, и Вечный пришёл к нему на помощь. Всевышний отвёл их от него:
32 For it came to pass,1961 that, when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 perceived7200 that3588 it was1961 not3808 the king4428 of Israel,3478 they turned back again7725 from pursuing4480310 him.
32 начальники над колесницами увидели, что он не царь Исраила и перестали его преследовать.
33 And a certain man376 drew4900 a bow7198 at a venture,8537 and smote5221853 the king4428 of Israel3478 between996 the joints1694 of the harness:8302 therefore he said559 to his chariot man,7395 Turn2015 thine hand,3027 that thou mayest carry me out3318 of4480 the host;4264 for3588 I am wounded.2470
33 Но кто-то натянул свой лук и случайно ранил царя Исраила, так что стрела попала в щель между его доспехами. Царь сказал своему колесничему: – Разворачивайся и вывези меня из боя. Я ранен.
34 And the battle4421 increased5927 that1931 day:3117 howbeit the king4428 of Israel3478 stayed himself up19615975 in his chariot4818 against5227 the Syrians758 until5704 the even:6153 and about the time6256 of the sun8121 going down935 he died.4191
34 Но битва кипела весь день, и царь Исраила вынужден был стоять в своей колеснице перед сирийцами до вечера. На закате он умер.
